Adventure - Day 1

Does everyone remember Russel Peteres and his joke about when you land on India and you will be blasted with the smell. Well I had something like that. I wasn’t blasted form the smell, I was blasted by the heat and humidity. I was choking from the humidity...it is crazy. How will I survive 4 years? Hopefully I will be back in 1 year because I know I won't survive 4 years in this heat with nothing but fast food everyday for food. That’s when a brain wave hit me...I will buy a rice cooker and cook my own foods!! It was the best plan ever but then after a long time of looking around...THERES NO ASIAN STORES!! I already bought the rice cooker and there was a no refund policy...so now I’m stuck with a rice cooker and instant noodle bowls.
Before buying my rice cooker, I went to find my dorms...OMFG DARWIN IS MASSIVE....just no population lol. I took like 30mins just to find where brown precinct was which is where all the dorms are in. The moment i opened my dorm room I was shocked! It was like the worst place I could ever stay....it was so....DIRTY!! I spent the next 4 hours cleaning it up. Surprising the uni is 5mins walk from a shopping centre like Chadstone except its worse…there’s no arcade=NO DJ MAX TECHNICA=NO GHOST SQUAD= SHATTERED DARREN! After the cleaning I went to buy books. I got lost on the way back…CARRIED 20KGS WORTH OF BOOKS FOR 20MINS!!! Anyways after that map reading fail I went to visit my family friends house..or should I say mansion. It’s like a combo of the land area of Templestow, the river behind a house of Patterson Lakes, the metro and simple house design of beach side houses and the fame of suburbs such as Toorak. I wish I could stay here instead of the dorms because like if you drop one hair its SOOO visible… that’s how clean it is, lol. Has a massive swimming pool and I can fish crabs and fish on the backyard boat dock. Anyways the time ran out to awe at the house so I went to the wharf to have dinner and watch the sunset. It was beautiful as.....well I don't need to finish it. I’m trying to get a photobucket account up so everyone can see the pictures. After my slow dinner, I came back to the pool. To cool down from the heat…WHY DO I SWEAT FROM JUST WALKING FROM THE DOOR TO THE CAR!! Anyway now I’m crashing at their house for the night. Its getting pretty late so I’ll stop my rant now.

Goodbye Melbourne, Goodbye Family, Goodbye Friends, Goodbye Little J

LAST DAY IN MELB OMG!!! Well technically 2nd last day since my plane departs at 1:45am on the 23rd. Still…I won’t be seeing anyone in the 105 minute period. I cannot believe I called in sick for my sister and my cousins so they can skip school to spend some time with me XD Nice cousins….bad role model haha. Lets see now….we went to southland to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and then met up with Daniel, Jeremy, Jon, Kenny, Joanna and Little J at Glenny! Dynamic duo, me and Joanna won with 6 of our balls left on the table…yes we were that pro that we didn’t have to finish off our balls to win ;) SOMEHOWWW I ended up shouting everyone pool…even though I’m the one that’s leaving…WTH! Ahh well, it was all good fun. Initial D was mega fail from Daniel who put his money into my machine instead of his. Max Brender was next =D. Mocha was soooo chocolaty... I couldn’t even drink it -.-“ had to scull the last quarter cup. Brings back good memories of the male toilets in QV. Looks just like a hug mug from Max Brenders, just enlarged by over a thousand fold haha. After MB, I managed to drag everyone into photo plus =] I think everyone got their revenge by “accidentally” shoving me in front which I tripped and smacked my head on the handle bars at the front =.= Finally it came down to the last farewell…Hopefully no one noticed somehting got into my eye just before i left. I think I missed out on a nice hug…cant change anything now. Maybe I can still get a similar hug when I get back. Fingers Crossed. I think you know who you are if you do read this.

Last Dinner with whole family and cousins (Sandy+Sandra) at Teapot. It was good seeing fei Mark one last time. Da bao 1 plate of wang gam gei pa for midnight snack on plane...never got around to eating it tho...
I got a call from "Mao Mao Panda that looks like Pork Dumplings" which ended abruptly because of drinking games...

Not much else happened that night, so i will leave it here tonight =D

Another Missed Opportunity

CANNOT BELIEVE my family did not wake me up when they went to the beach at like 7 in the morning. I woke up right after you guys left…..then I went back to sleep because I cbb calling you guys to come back for me. I know you’re reading this! Anyways there was a special event on Sunday. A DOUBLE DATE TO THE ZOO! And then there was the BIG ONE EIGHT PARTY! Apparently the days leading up to Sunday I had to be home but I thought I might test my luck with my mum and see if I could go to one of these events. I asked my mum about the Big One Eight party since I didn’t have any hope in my chances and hen…OMG the change of heart in people are so hard to understand. One day my mum says “YOU CANNOT GO ANYWHERE!!” and then the next she is like “you can go just come back at 4…actually come back by 5 is okay”. So I ended up going to Ray’s Big One Eight party. I thought my present was a very good one. Had multiple uses according to the man who tested it out himself. Original intention was to have him use the vibrating shaver to remove any fluff and replace it with masculine facial hair. There would be another use for it if he was pimping…the rest is up to your imagination. If you really need help then read the green highlights.
After that my family decided to step up the standard and brought me to a place called Lobster Cave. The food there was absolute perfection! We even got some steak for CoCo….it’s crazy haha. I had half a lobster and a steak and a lot of tempura calamari. Got 2 more red envelopes =] Can’t say it’s a bad day but too bad there wasn’t enough time to fit in the zoo event…Yet again I disappoint Little J. Ahhhh sowwies >.< Ah yeah I forgot I crashed D. Fun’s house at 11:45…pm lol. Someone was in the shower and didn’t bring a towel with them ;) All we ended up doing was talking and playing big 2…..reliving our high school lunch times.

Well remiscing is over so imma head off to sleep

Missed Opportunity

BURDEN PARK FESTTIVAL AND FIREWORKS…which I did not attend due to my waitressing job at Teapot. I cannot believe we had over 50 tables!! I mean the restaurant only holds like 35-40 tables at most but we have some teo chew party that needs 50 tables. We had to set up 15 tables outside in the parking lot and I don’t think those guests would be happy. Ahhh well, least those people in my section were happy, so happy I even got private tips. That made my day since I got my final pay of $100 for the night session, $25 tips and $25 private tips so that’s $150= Darren very happy.
Before the work and tips Darren was very down since plans to watch fireworks at burden was cancelled because the boss called in and demanded I had to work. I guess I will never see any fireworks in Melbourne since I missed every single event due to work >.<> sorry to Little J since we already had a small plan to watch fireworks and I had to cancel it.
Ah well, there isn’t much else other than I played pool from 3am - 5am after work with Anthony Sikkonyyyy!! When I got home, I had to put my ninja mask on and pretend I was sleeping before parents woke up…Trust me, I’m a ninja. No sound was made =]

Anyways i will be sneaking away from you now

First Post

Hey eveyone.

Only just recenly I have noticed a lot of people having a blog and so fo once I will conform to the norm and make one of my own.

This is probably the easiest way for me to tell everyone about my adventures in Casuarina? Sounds like woop woop and its a whopping 3750kms away from Melbourne. Ah well, someone has to explore uncharted land so others may enjoy. That means whoever is reading this blog should come visit me once I have settled in. =]

I won't promise to always keep this blog up to date but I'll try my best.

Anyways, I should had off to gym now since I am already late for my personal training....
